Brewery Tours
As travelers who enjoy a great beer now and then, Beth and Tim at SimSolTravel like to
share their experiences when they can visit breweries around the world.
And occasionally they find a gem of an old poster promoting the virtues of beer, like this
What is Beer?
poster, from the United Brewers Industrial Foundation.
Please enjoy a virtual tour of some of the breweries they have visited

Oktoberfest
While visiting breweries and pubs is fun, there is nothing quite like the huge party in Muchen (Munich) Germany every year!
Oktoberfest, often called Wiesn for short, is the annual celebration of the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig, later to become King Ludwig I, to Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen.
Tim and Beth have been to the Theresienwiese (field, or meadow, of Therese) twice.
The first time during the construction and the second during the party.
The party is a lot more fun!
Muchen (Munich) Oktoberfest -- the big event in 2012.
GABF: The Great American Beer Festival
It's great to travel to breweries and pubs but it is even better when the beer comes to you!
Tim and Beth try to go to GABF whenever they can.
Here are a few pictures of the sessions they have attended:
Food, beer, festivities and a good cause at Wynkoop Brewing Co.
Beth and Tim hope you will visit the Travel Information site for pictures and information about areas where they specialize, places they have visited and hotels they have enjoyed.
